February 4, 2016

The South Sudan Law Society, in partnership with UNDP, conducted a survey to gauge the perceptions of the South Sudanese about transitional justice issues. The findings are informative to develop a South Sudanese agenda for transitional justice. The survey targeted a total of 1,525 individuals (51% women) in 11 locations across 6 of South Sudan’s 10 states as well as Abyei area. The survey data demonstrates a demand for truth, justice, reconciliation and healing.
